PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING DARÜLACEZE TRAINING

Final-year students from the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, provided health training at the Presidency of Darülaceze between November 1 and December 3, 2025, as part of the "HEM7001 Public Health Nursing" course. Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Kübra İncirkuş, presentations were made to Darülaceze residents on "Proper Hand Washing," "Oral Hygiene and Dental Health," and "Prevention of Smoking." After the presentations, questions from the residents participating in the training were answered, and brochures on the subject were distributed.

Our esteemed academics from the Department of Nursing, Assist. Prof. Aysel Çavuşoğlu and Res. Assist. Zozan Tutuş, attended the “27th National Internal Medicine Congress” held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on between October 8-12, 2025. 

TRAINING SESSION FOR FINAL-YEAR STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NURSING BY THE DIRECTORATE OF LIBRARY AND DOCUMENTATION

Yasemin Balcı, Head of the Directorate of Library and Documentation, and Deputy Head Senem Güneysu delivered a training session on Thursday, September 18, 2025, for final-year students of the Department of Nursing. The session focused on literature search techniques and the effective use of library resources.

"Sexual Health Literacy and Stigma in Young Women" by Beyza Şahin, conducted with our Head of Department of Nursing, Assist. Prof. Mukaddes Tural Miral and Pınar Savukduran's "Investigation between Perceived Stress and Sleep Quality of the Faculty of Health Sciences", observed with Assist. Prof. Kübra İncirkuş, one of the academicians in our  Department of Nursing she was entitled to receive support within the scope of the "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program" 2023/2 period, carried out by TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programs Directorate (BİDEB).
