Specialist Nurse Ülkü Kaftancıoğlu, Hemovigilance Nurse of the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine Blood Center Diagnosis, Examination, and Imaging Services Unit, was a guest at the "Career Development" course given at the Department of Nursing. Kaftancıoğlu shared her knowledge and experiences about hemovigilance nursing with our students.
Our Head of the Department of Nursing Prof. Dr. Asiye Gül and Assist. Prof. Mukaddes Turan Miral and Res. Assist. Cennet Kara Özçalık, visited the Darülaceze Presidency. Our faculty members from the Department of Nursing, who had a meeting with the Head of the Darülaceze, Master Architect Hamza Cebeci, signed a cooperation protocol with the Darülaceze on applied courses/internships. Under the cooperation, our students were given the opportunity to undergo their internship for the "Public Health Nursing" course in the Fall Semester of 2022-2023.
Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing Head Prof. Dr. Asiye Gül and Assist. Prof. Dr. Mukaddes Turan Miral from the Department of Nursing visited the Darülaceze Presidency to start off the cooperation protocol activities. Assist. Prof. Dr. Mukaddes Turan Miral from Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing gave a seminar on "Adolescent Health" at Sakarya Pamukova 75. Yıl Primary School as part of "TÜBİTAK Science Talks". The seminar, which was held on Monday, May 16, was attended by Pamukova District Director of National Education Aziz Demir, adolescent 4th grade students and teachers. In the seminar attended by approximately one hundred students, an educational talk was given in line with scientific studies on adolescence and the different factors that effect it. IKU Department of Nursing held a program at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Monday, May 9, as part of the "Nursing Week" celebrations. The “Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE)” for the IKU Department of Nursing first-year students, is taken on April 28, 2022, Monday, between 09.00-17.30. Mehmet Akif Ersoy Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital Organ Transplant Coordinator Gamze Ataman Yıldız was a guest of our university.
